Spheroidizing
Lamellar pearlite turned into spheroidised carbides: lower hardness, better machinability and cold formability for heading, drawing and finishing.
Linqing, Shandong · Since 2006
From ⌀0.5 mm to ⌀120 mm. Bearing steel balls, ceramic balls and stainless steel balls — plus bearing steel wire and annealing. One factory, one set of inspection standards.
Products
Same steel, same grinding and sorting, same inspection room. Whatever the specification, we try to keep it under one roof.
Bearing steel balls
High-carbon chromium bearing steel, HRC 60–66. Roundness, roughness and hardness controlled batch by batch.
Ceramic balls
About 40% the density of steel. Insulating, non-magnetic, resistant to heat and corrosion.
Stainless steel balls
From corrosion-resistant 304/316L to hardenable 420/440C — rust resistance and load capacity.
Wire & annealing
GCr15 wire rod supplied with spheroidizing, soft annealing and stress relief — ready to run.
Process & quality
The quality of a ball comes down to a few numbers: diameter, spherical error, surface roughness, hardness and microstructure. We make measuring them a fixed step before shipment — not a matter of luck.
Process
From wire rod to finished ball, every process parameter stays in the batch record. So when something goes wrong, we can trace which step it came from.
Spheroidizing
Softens the wire for cold heading
Cold heading
Mould-formed, consistent blanks
Hardening
HRC 60–66, uniform through the batch
Rough grinding
Removes stock, leaves finishing allowance
Fine grinding
Diameter and spherical error
Superfinishing
Lower Ra, longer life, quieter running
Grading
Sorted into micron-level bands
Inspection
Hardness, metallurgy, crack test, packing
Wire & heat treatment
Spheroidising decides how well the wire cold-heads, machines and grinds. Selling wire and annealing it happen in one plant — one less handover, one less argument about whose fault it was.
Lamellar pearlite turned into spheroidised carbides: lower hardness, better machinability and cold formability for heading, drawing and finishing.
Further hardness reduction and stress relief for deep drawing and cold extrusion, with less cracking and less spring-back.
For residual stress left by machining and drawing. Stabilises dimensions and reduces distortion in later heat treatment or in service.
Applications
A failed ball often means a stopped line. We would rather spend the effort before it leaves the factory.
About Aohengsai
Founded in 2006 on the South Ring Road of Yandian, Linqing, Shandong. In twenty years the range grew from bearing steel balls to ceramic balls, stainless steel balls, and bearing steel wire with annealing.
In 2024 our in-house "new-type steel ball fine-grinding device" was granted a Chinese utility model patent (CN 222002927 U) — steadier grinding, less manual adjustment, more consistent output.
